Silver Bells in the City is a Lansing tradition that is loved by generations of families. It attracts over 80,000 people to the Capital City each year and takes place annually on the Friday before Thanksgiving in Lansing, Michigan. This Electric Light Parade has lots of lighted floats and a Santa.
You can enjoy the holiday lights in Downtown Rochester with the The Big, Bright Light Show, wherein each store front along Main Street also known as Rochester Road literally gets its own color scheme of lights. This display of lights goes on every night in the month of December and continues until first week of January.
Enjoy “Christmas at Crossroads: Holiday Magic” at Crossroads Village in Flint. The village and train are all lit up for the season. In addition to historic displays, crafts, food and shopping, the Opera House provides live entertainment. Apart from all this, there is a special Christmas Buffet on Friday and Saturday nights in December at the Sullivan’s Black Forest restaurant there.
Wayne County Parks in Westland celebrate the holidays with an annual Lightfest consisting of over four miles of displays which have approximately a million lights.

There is a Annual Christmas Parade in Grand Ledge which kicks off the holiday season. It is a Lighted Float Parade starting at the fire barn going across the bridge and ends with Santa at the Sun Theater.
