Christmas in Oman

Oman officially called the Sultanate of Oman is an Arab state in southwest Asia on the southeast coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It is bordered by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the northwest, Saudi Arabia to the west, and Yemen to the southwest and also shares a marine border with Iran. The coast is formed by the Arabian Sea on the southeast and the Gulf of Oman on the northeast. The Madha and Musandam enclaves are surrounded by the UAE on their land borders, with the Strait of Hormuz and Gulf of Oman forming Musandam’s coastal boundaries.

The Capital and largest city of this country is Muscat.

Christmas Celebrations in Oman :

Oman is an Islamic country and the number of Christian people in this country is very less. Infact, Christains who live here are mainly who have come from other countries.

There are Christmas Tree, no Santa distributing gifts to children, no delicious Christmas food, no Christmas carol. In short Christmas is just like any other day of the year in Oman. But still Christmas is celebrated by these Christian at their level best.
